In celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Barangay Basak San Nicolas, through its Gender and Development (GAD) initiatives, promotes breast health awareness, early detection, and support for individuals affected by breast cancer.
The activity was attended by members of the Womenβs Organization, Solo Parentsβ Organization, and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Organization of Barangay Basak San Nicolas.
Heartfelt thanks to St. Anthony Mother and Child Hospital for initiating this meaningful and informative program.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to our resource speakers:
ποΈ Dr. Grace Ann S. Concepcion β for sharing valuable knowledge on breast cancer awareness and emphasizing the importance of early detection, regular screening, and timely medical consultation.
π Mercedes Jane P. Sia, RN β for courageously sharing her personal journey in fighting breast cancer and inspiring participants with her story of strength, hope, and perseverance.
Through initiatives like this, we continue to promote awareness, break the stigma, and foster a supportive and inclusive community where everyone is encouraged to prioritize their health and well-being.
π Early detection saves lives. Awareness brings hope. Together, let us stand united in the fight against breast cancer! π
