Last August 21, 2025, our SK Council attended the MOA Discussion at Business Hotel, which opened with a presentation by Ms. Maria Sol Torres on the health and environmental risks of glyphosate and paraquat.
This was followed by the discussion of the proposed MOA between the Cebu City Highly Urbanized City Agricultural and Fishery Council (HUCAFC) and the SK Federation of Cebu City.
Our SK was represented by Hon. Ivan Montifalcon, SK Councilor and Committee Head on Agriculture, together with the SK Federation’s Agriculture Head.
The Council encourages the youth to share their ideas on agriculture and remains open to meaningful dialogue as we work toward a more sustainable and thriving community. 🌱
