Basak San Nicolas is a barangay in Cebu City. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 38,965. This represented 4.04% of the total population of Cebu City. The 2024 census (citypopulation.de) showsa slight decrease with a total population of 37,118 with a population density of 25,038/km².
Population by age group – According to the 2015 Census, the age group with the highest population in Basak San Nicolas is 20 to 24, with 3,818 individuals. Conversely, the age group with the lowest population is 80 and over, with 220 individuals.
